Cancellation Policy

In our effort to consider children and families that are enrolled in our programs, and also our staff and coaches, the following policies are active for session make-ups.

If participant/family misses a session:

• Soccer Shots will not offer any credits or refunds for any sessions a participant/family misses for any personal reasons

If Soccer Shots is cancelling the sessions:

• Soccer Shots reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment. Upon cancellation, a full refund will be made.
• Public Seasons - During spring, summer and fall seasons, whenever possible, we will use indoor space during inclement weather. If there is no indoor space available, or during an indoor season, we will schedule to make up a maximum of two classes due to inclement weather (extreme cold, heat, snow, rain, etc.) using the pre-scheduled make-up dates laid out prior to the season.
• Schools - During your season, if sessions need to be cancelled due to inclement weather, we will work with your school or center to reschedule up to two cancelled sessions.
  
  Weather Cancellations Explained
  In case of weather cancellations Soccer Shots will do 3 things:

  1. Send you an email/text up to two hours before the session.
  (please check your spam inbox as your email provider may not recognize our @soccershots.com email)

  2. Post a weather cancellation to our Facebook page (Soccer Shots Ocean County).

  We only post cancellations

  We do not post anything like, "This storm looks like it's going to pass, soccer is on for tonight".

  If you do not hear from us via email, Facebook or website then soccer is not canceled.

  Please do not call us or email us for updates

  We serve over 1,000 children this season and that is just too many phone calls to handle.

  We love you and we will let you know if it's canceled. We have children of our own and are involved in other sports and we understand your desire to know as soon as possible.

  If you don't hear from us and the weather looks inclement and sketchy

  We will send our coaches to the field and make 'game-time decisions'.

  We aim to play and keep your kids safe, so the coach will make the best judgment call.

  In the rarest of occasions, you will receive a text message to notify you of last-minute cancellations.

  We do not cancel for field conditions.

  Unless the field is closed by the parks department, we do not cancel for wet field conditions.
  Sometimes we will have to cancel a class even if the weather is very nice because the local park department has deemed it unsafe to play. We will notify you via email and Facebook and in this event, since you may not anticipate a cancellation, we will text you.
  

  At Daycares & Pre-Schools

  We communicate and make cancellation decisions with the director of your school and will communicate updates to you via email regarding makeup days.
